The Championship is split into 2 age groups:
• JUNIOR 12 – 16 years olds • ADULT 17+ This gives you adults a chance of winning something against those child superstars you might have seen roaming the tracks!
HOW DO YOU WIN?
This year we are really going for it. Qualifying will take place all summer long to allow everyone enough chance to post their fastest laps and put in their best performance. To be eligible for the semi finals you need to complete at least 3 sessions across the 3 months of summer clocking up at least 3 fast laps in each. Your fastest 3 laps across the summer will count towards your qualification. On the 31st August Qualifying will finish and the fastest 40 drivers from each track in each age category make it through to the Semi-Finals in September! That’s a total of 560 places in our Semi Finals! You have got to fancy your chances at that? The fastest 6 drivers from the semi finals at each track in each age category will automatically qualify for our Grand Final Event. That’s the fastest 42 drivers in each age group, going head to head to be the Karting King of 2010! The Final will be held across ALL 3 LEVELS of the Crawley International Circuit on the 31st October and will be completely free of charge. Then the rest is up to you, just beat the other 41 drivers on the day to take the crown and win one of the amazing prizes on offer!
So what about the prizes I hear you say?
We have lined up an amazing array of prizes for 2010: JUNIOR Level 1st – 1 week family holiday to Centre Parks worth over £1,000 2nd – Pair of tickets to the 2011British Grand Prix 3rd –Mini experience track dayat Goodwood ADULT Level 1st – 1 week holiday for two people in a "boutique" hotel in Turkey worth over £1,000 2nd – Pair of tickets to the 2011British Grand Prix 3rd –Track Dayat Goodwood It gets better still! We are going to do 9 prize draws throughout qualifying, giving away loads of great prizes. All you have to do is set 3 lap times in the last week to qualify – keep checking back here on the blog for info on when the next prize draw week will be.
