Looking for a great way to kick start your summer?

The Goodwood Festival of Speed plays host to some of the greatest spectator events in Britain  and missing out on it would be a crime, and with only 7 days before it all kicks off isn’t it about time you went and bought your ticket? You can watch Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton in the famous Goodwood Hillclimb, a 1.16-mile course climbing 300ft through narrow flint walled roads around the estate. The Hillclimb is an incredibly technical and challenging course, testing the drivers to the limit of their skills in the sole pursuit of speed. Other big names include current F1 stars such as Mark Webber in his Red bull and Nico Rosberg tearing it up in his Mercedes, also catch Bruno Senna in his Uncle Ayrton’s McLaren MP4/8. All new at this years Festival of Speed is the introduction of the Moving Motor Show, a chance for leading car manufacturers to show off their latest models to prospective buyers and in some cases hop aboard and experience the brand spankin’ new vehicles first-hand (at the strict invitation of the manufacturers invitation only.) If none of the above is enough to get your motor running how about appearances from past motorcycle icons like Giacomo Agostini and Kevin Schwantz who will be showing off the very machines that took them to victory many moons ago. The Festival of Speed doesn’t just concentrate on the greatest of blistering speed on wheels either, with air displays of historic and modern aircraft you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy. Other events include; Off-Road Driving, Sunday Times Supercar Run, Forest Rally Stage and something specifically for the kids in the Junior Festival of Speed where they can catch up on the latest racing games to re-decorating a car. Don’t forget to book earlier rather than later as these tickets will be your key to an amazing experience, you won’t be disappointed.
