TeamSport Crawley gets a face lift

Over £200k spent on Crawley Refurbishment Project

2018-01-24

Crawley has been home to TeamSport since 1995 and although there was a change of venue in 2009 newcomers and seasoned pros alike have enjoyed karting at both sites over the years.

Closing on the 3rd January 2018 for just over 5 weeks, the centre will receive a well-earned face lift costing over £200k and will be unrecognisable to returning karters.

All hospitality areas including reception, briefing room, changing facilities and spectator areas will have a completely new layout and be totally refurnished. The new changing rooms will include state of the art key pad lockers to increase the security for customers personal belongings but perhaps most exciting of all – there is to be a brand new licensed Fuel Bar.

Fuel Bar ~ TeamSport's very own onsite food and drink outlet where customers can purchase both hot and cold food as well as a range of beverages - including alcohol.

Fans of the Crawley track itself needn’t worry as the layout will remain the same with some small updates to enhance your race experience so all previous track records and hot lap times will remain unaffected by the refurbishment - but with the increased number of new racers expected maybe a personal best tune up session wouldn’t be a bad thing?

The site re-opens on Saturday 10th February 2018 and we are expecting it to be busy so to guarantee that you are one of the first to experience the new and improved TeamSport Crawley book online now or give us a call!
