We were really pleased to welcome Olympic Bronze medallist, Tom Daley, to the track over the weekend , he came to chill out after his incredible London 2012 experience. Tom visited with a few friends but sadly his Olympic success wasn't echoed at Tower Bridge as he missed out on a podium finish. He posted two photographs from the visit on his Facebook and Twitter pages; the first was a 'before' shot and the second was an 'after' shot which showed him stood next to the full podium with a frown on his face. Tom wrote under the second picture he posted on Twitter: "And after...yes I lost :(" It was great to see Tom have a little bit of time off to do the other things he loves and we were happy he was so close to us at Tower Bridge! Tom's Olympic experience continued this afternoon as he took part in the Olympic Victory Parade this afternoon; he tweeted to let us know:
I am going to be on float number 8! Along with the equestrian team! Keep an eye out :P
