GIRLS ON GRID (2023)
TeamSport is promoting diversity and equal opportunities in motorsports, by hosting their female-only event at TeamSport Leicester! Girls on Grid is an event for everyone, with all abilities welcome to gain confidence in karting and become a part of a wider racing community.
Currently, the motorsport industry is very male-dominated and we’re passionate about equaling the playing field and opening up karting to be more gender diverse, perhaps with the possibility of helping a keen female karter get to a professional level!
Leicester, are you ready?
Our next Girls on Grid event will be at TeamSport Leicester on the 19th of April 2023 and is open to all girls aged 8+. TeamSport is so proud to be able to run an event 'by women, for women'.
The event will run from 6-10 pm onwards and will be a fun-packed evening full of racing, activities, food & drink, and the chance to meet new, like-minded women.
Let's get more girls into motorsport and create a supportive and empowering community.
