Last week our North London Karting track had a visit from the One Direction boys who were in to use the track to film the new Mario Kart 7 game advert with Nintendo. Bringing with them large inflatable Mario Kart characters, the guys from Nintendo transformed the TeamSport track into an animated setting ready for the filming of the video. Mario Kart 7 is the latest addition to the well known racing Mario Kart game for the Nintendo 3DS allowing players to soar through the sky and dive underwater using the new bigger and better motion controls. The game has also enhanced their multiplayer function, so the players can now play against people who are nearby or can use the internet to play with people from all over the world! The boys took to the the karts immediately, but were all black flagged within 10 minutes of being on the track and eventually Liam finished with the fastest lap time of 24.72. It was a great day for everyone and although the boys had to avoid all their screaming fans on the way out, they were definitely keen to come back and visit again soon.
