Emily Liscott becomes BIKC ambassador

Emily Linscott, from Basildon in Essex, is best known for her prowess behind the wheel of some incredibly fast and powerful race cars. Competing at an exceedingly high standard both in the UK and Internationally at the tender age of just 17. Not only is she fiercely determined on the track taking many podium top spots, Emily is to be equally admired for her determination to make Motorsport more accessible to all when she is off the track. It is the combination of this hardworking attitude and grit determination to succeed on the track that left us in no doubt we wanted to collaborate with Emily.

Supporting Motorsport in Education

TeamSport are thrilled to be supporting Emily in launching her initiative Motorsport in Education in March 2020. This programme will see Emily, together with her sponsors providing STEM based learning opportunities for underprivileged children and schools to not only learn about life as a racing driver but also get actively involved in driving a kart too. The first event hosted at TeamSport Basildon in March will see 30 specially chosen children take part in a whole host of activities throughout the day- providing learning opportunities in a fun and interactive environment. Emily's other sponsors including FASTR, will be bringing their stunning Bentley Continental GT3 race car down to the venue and ‘Everyone Active Basildon Sporting Village’ are providing two Personal Trainers to deliver physical training activities. This event is intended to be the first of many hosted UK wide.

British Indoor Karting Championship

TeamSport's CEO, Dominic Gaynor has also invited Emily to become a BIKC ambassador for 2020. Mr Gaynor, said of the partnership, “Emily represents an inspirational icon of hope for the next generation to follow, this resonates perfectly with TeamSport’s own ethos of supporting and nurturing the youngsters of tomorrow. The launch of Motorsport in Education teams perfectly with the launch of BIKC, an accessible and affordable championship TeamSport have launched this year in association with Motorsport UK. We are excited to start working together and also watching Emily's future career as a racing driver evolve."

Emily will collaborate with TeamSport in a number of ways throughout this championship including offering support and advice to the cadet entries of BIKC both in her own community and throughout the UK. Watch this space. Check out bikc.co.uk and please follow and support Emily Linscott Racing.
