TEAMSPORT IS WAVING THE CHEQUERED FLAG ON SINGLE-USE PLASTIC
Hey guys! It’s Forest, I’m the new TeamSport mascot for everything environmental and GREEN! Recycling week is here and it’s all about encouraging people to recycle more to save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions… something we should all care about!
We do a lot at TeamSport to help reduce the amount of plastic and waste we produce and here are just a few of the many things we are doing to help combat climate change…
- All of our sites have mixed recycling bins to ensure that we are recycling all suitable materials... things like paper, plastics, and glass
- 25% of our sites are currently zero plastic waste with our awesome new food and beverage products. We are working on a plan to get all of our sites zero plastic waste (we will keep you in the loop on that one!)
- Our used tyres are all recycled into things like the protective safety floor for children’s playgrounds and also for barrier protection on boats and barges – how cool is that?!
Every single one of us can actively do something to help the current Climate Crisis and most of us already do, through small but powerful habits – like recycling! Keep recycling and let’s all work together to make a difference.
