01.07.15 JUNE HOT LAPS HEAT UP FOR SUMMER!
STEWART Macgregor remains in 1st place for June with another fantastic lap time of 1:01.627s closely followed in 2nd place by Tyler Redcliffe with 1:01.978s.

01.06.15 MAY HOT LAPS!
STEWART Macgregor takes 1st place for May with a top lap of 1:01.177s as a new personal best making his way to the top of the elite board!
Tyler Redcliffe comes in 2nd place with a lap time of 1:01.304s and in 3rd place with a lap time of 1:02.201s is Philip Hawcroft.

15.05.15 #GRID IRON MAN RACE NIGHT!
In the 10min qualifying Stewart Macgregor managed to take pole position with a lap time of 62.853 Closely following Stewart with a time of 62.948 was Tyler Redcliffe in second place and 0.633 seconds of the pole time was John O'mahoney starting third on the grid and the rest of the results are as follows:

With the drivers lined up on the grid ready for the start of their 50min race the chequered flag dropped. John O'mahoney got another poor start dropping to 5th place. After a few laps it was clear that this was going to be a race all the way to the chequered flag, with Stewart and Tyler getting a 6 second lead by lap 4. For the first half to the race Tyler couldn’t find his way around Stewart and knowing it was a long race didn’t make any silly moves. Further back in the field Adam, Steve and John all battled for 3rd place. Tyler and Stewart swapped positions a few times before the end of the race but it was Stewart Macgregor who won the race.

06.05.15 KARTCHAMPS HAS BEGUN!
KartChamps 2015 is off to a start, and don't forget all you need to do to get involved is set 2 lap times before June 30th and then another time in July in order to qualify through to Track Attack.

05.05.15 IT’S TIME TO CHASE THE ACE!
With Stewart Macgregor the Ace for the 3rd month in a row the 6 drivers set about completing their one lap Qualifier to determine the Grid positions for the race. As Stewart is the Ace he would be starting on pole no matter what time he got but after everyone completed their lap in the same kart he still got the fastest time:
1st, Stewart Macgregor - 63.087
2nd, Glenn Hayes - 63.874
3rd, John O'mahoney - 63.915
4th, Philip Hawcroft - 63.996
5th, Philip Cunliffe - 64.247
6th., Lee Holmes - 66.627
The drivers lined up on the grid ready for the start of their 45min race and the chequered flag dropped. John O'mahoney got a terrible start from 3th place dropping down to 5th place. Stewart Macgregor started to build his lead up from the first lap with John trying to make up for his poor start.
By lap 8 Stewart had a 9.4 second lead with John already on the back of Philip Hawcroft in 2nd. From lap 12 the race settled down with only lap times improving as john couldn’t find a way past Philip into 2nd.
After 42 laps of racing the results were as follows:
1st, Stewart Macgregor - 62.461
2nd, Philip Hawcroft - 63.282
3rd, John O'mahoney - 63.214
4th, Glenn Hayes - 63.166

21.04.15 TOP GUN COMES TO WARRINGTON!
FOR the First Top Gun event at Warrington the starting order was decided with the drivers pulling their grid positions out of a hat with Julian Philippe starting at the back, Mike Ellis in 7th, John O'mahoney in 6th, William Carr in 5th, Darren Parker in 4th, Ian Sandison starting 3rd, Mark Hitchcock in 2nd place and James Fox starting the 45min race at the front in pole position.
With the drivers lined up on the grid ready for the start of the first top gun event at Warrington the chequered flag dropped and the 45mins of racing started. In the first few laps Ian Sandison made his way up to first place with the best progress made by John O'mahoney making his way from 7th to 4th by lap 14. As the race went on Mark Hitchcock over took James Fox into 2nd place then on lap 22 John O'mahoney had caught up and took 2nd place. Once John had taken 2nd he tried to make a dent into Ian’s 18 second lead but by the end of the race he was only able to close the gap by 4 seconds.

19.03.15 #GRID MINI GRAND PRIX RACE NIGHT!
In qualifying Ben Edwards managed to take pole position with a lap time of 62.245. Closely following Ben with a time of 62.830 was Philip Cunliffe in second place and 1.225 seconds of the pole time was Julian Goodman starting third on the grid.
After 15 minutes of qualifying the grid line up was determined:
1st - Ben Edwards 62.245
2nd Philip Cunliffe 62.830
3rd Julian Goodman 63.470
4th - John O'mahoney 63.755
5th - Kieron Concah 64.193
With the drivers lined up on the grid ready for the start of their 30min race the chequered flag dropped. John O'mahoney got an excellent start from 4th place managing to make his way up to 3rd and almost 2nd going into the first and second corner. After a few laps it was clear that this was going to be a race all the way to the chequered flag, with Ben, Philip and John all bumper to bumper. On the 4th lap John managed to make a move on Philip to up 2nd place. While Ben, John and Phil battled over the podium places Julian and Kieron were on their own in 4th and 5th places respectively. 19 Laps into the race Phil took back his 2nd place from John and that’s how it stayed till the end with Ben taking the chequered flag!

05.03.15 CADET ACADEMY
Young karters.. our fantastic Cadet Academy is off to a great start with increasing numbers of junior drivers and fantastic tuition available to the future karting stars of the track.
Our Cadet Kart Academy is now running on a monthly basis providing tuition and competitions for younger drivers.
It's a fantastic opportunity to make karting their favourite hobby and with a loyalty scheme in place too including fantastic membership benefits to join in with - there has never been a better way to get the kids into karting!
We will also be running our Junior track day mornings throughout the Easter holidays!

On Thursday 19th February we held our members only Premier Exclusive race night..
In qualifying John O'mahoney managed to take pole position with a lap time of 62.906 which is his new personal best. Closely following John with a time of 63.092 was Ben Greenwood in second place and 0.447seconds of the pole time was Dan Sobotta starting third on the grid.
After the 15mins of qualifying the grid was determined:

With the drivers lined up on the grid ready for the start of their 30min race the chequered flag dropped. Ben Greenwood got a excellent start from second place managing to take the lead from John O'mahoney going into the first corner. After a few laps it was clear that this was going to be a race all the way to the chequered flag, Ben couldn't pull out a lead and John couldn't get past. While Ben and john battled over first place Dan Sobotta held onto a commutable third as Craig, Stuart and Phill were all trying to move up the field.
Although John set the fastest lap time of the race, a 62.716 Ben held onto his lead by less than one kart length to take the chequered flag and the win.

18.12.14 CALLING ALL FUTURE YOUNG KARTING STARS!
OUR brand new Cadet Academy is a fantastic way for young drivers aged between 8 years and 16 years to progress their way through karting and learn the best techniques. The Academy is staged from Beginner through to Advanced where karters will then be invited to compete in TeamSport championships across our 13 locations. Existing young #GRID members will go straight through to Intermediate stage should they meet the required criteria.
If you are a young driver, or would like to get your child into karting then Cadet Academy is the perfect option! Beginners stage is open to all drivers and once progressed to next stage they will be required to become part of the #GRID and are on their way to the podium!
Sessions will run on a monthly basis to begin with so give us a call or visit your local track for more information.

15.12.14 CHAMPIONS COME FROM WARRINGTON!
ON Sunday 14th December, our 2014 Kart Champs finalist took to Brands Hatch for their prize of the chance to compete in a fantastic MINI Challenge Day!
It was a great day, enjoyed by all but we just wanted to make a special shout out to the winner of the day - Mike Bamber - #GRID member from Warrington!
Mike not only showed off his karting skill throughout the 2014 Kart Champs stages but also claimed the MINI Challenge Day trophy to take home too!
Congratulations Mike! Don't forget that Kart Champs returns in 2015 so make sure you all get involved!

14.11.14 THE LAST MAN STANDING
THE Eliminator is coming to Warrington for an exclusive members only night! #GRID members have the chance to battle it out against each other and keep ahead in an attempt to claim pole position and make it to the end. It’s an extended format with a grid started race, where in the final five minutes of the race, every other lap the last place driver will be eliminated of the track leaving the last 3 drivers standing to take the glory on the podium!
The event is taking place on the Warrington International circuit on Tuesday 25th November at 6pm! Secure your place now to get involved!
01.11.14 DID YOU MAKE THE OCTOBER HOT LAP LEADERBOARD?
WITH the new karts in action and a new track layout, we see some quicker laps coming in for October to start setting against for next month. Ashley Higham takes 1st place way ahead of the rest with a top lap of 57.695, Craig Speakes comes in 2nd with a fast lap time of 59.262 and Daniel Hill taking 3rd place not far behind with 59.906!
