WHAT THE DIFFERENT TIERS MEAN FOR TEAMSPORT CUSTOMERS
Following the latest Governmental update on Saturday 19th December, a new Tier 4 classification was introduced.
The following information details which TeamSport tracks are located in which tiers and what that means for our crew and customers.
Tier One – Medium Alert
At the moment none of our TeamSport or ScotKart tracks are situated in a tier one location.
If they were they would be open for business, with comprehensive COVID secure measures in place and operating within the Government guidelines set out for this banding.
Tier Two – High Alert
We have four tracks in a tier two location.
ALL of the eight tracks are open and operating within the Government guidelines for this banding and with comprehensive COVID secure measures in place.
A summary of the restrictions:
- Soft drinks and food will be on sale as normal, but we will cease to sell alcohol in all tier two sites.
- Groups that arrive and that aren’t single families living together and/or single support bubbles will be appropriately split and socially distanced at all times when not on track. On track different groups are able to race together where they are booked onto the same session time.
