The ‘Rule-Of-Six’ At TeamSport – Groups Are Welcome
Confused about what the ‘Rule-Of-Six’ means for your trip to TeamSport?
Hopefully after reading the following, you will feel a lot clearer on the rules and have confidence that TeamSport have all the required COVID secure processes and procedures in place to keep you, your family and your friends safe when you visit.
The rule states: ‘That any social gatherings of more than six people will be against the law.’ And the Government have been keen for people to remember not to participate in social gatherings of more than six people in any setting, indoors or outdoors.
However there are permissible exceptions to the rule above. One of those being the following, that states;
“Venues following COVID-19 secure guidelines – such as places of worships, gyms, restaurants and other hospitality venues – can still hold more than six people in total. But within those venues, there must not be individual groups larger than six, and groups must not mix socially or form larger groups.”
TeamSport tracks are sizeable buildings, most of which are larger than a football pitch and it is this ample amount of space, combined with our thorough COVID secure processes and protocols that mean if you make a booking for more than 6 drivers we will implement the following process. Any groups of six or more OR groups that are made up of a mixture of households/support bubbles, will be required to remain split into smaller socially distanced groups off-track. Although groups that have booked onto the same race time, will still all be able to be on track together. It is off-track that bookings of larger than six and/or mixed households, dependent upon the alert level at that site, will be kept appropriately socially distanced from one another.
