NEWCASTLE AND PRESTON TRACKS OPEN AND COVID SECURE
We understand the nervousness, apprehension and questions some of our customers will have after the announcement of the increased restrictions in the North East of England, on the 17th September and the subsequent announcement including Lancashire, (with the exception of Blackpool) on Friday 18th September.
We have been following the situation closely and have and always will, adhere to and follow Government advice in order to keep both our crew members and our customers safe.
Having reviewed the Governments statement, we are confident that it is appropriate for our Newcastle and Preston tracks to remain open, however Newcastle will close earlier than normal (10pm), in light of the curfew being imposed there.
Both Newcastle and Preston tracks are large spacious venues and we can accommodate and safely socially distance different family groups in a COVID secure way.
In addition to the zoning and social distancing of different family groups we have a considerable amount of other stringent COVID secure measures in place, from the hi-tech ozone sanitisation and deodorisation units into which all used helmets and racewear are added after each and every use, through to strict cleaning routines of all hard surfaces and each kart steering wheel after every use.
We ask customers to take a few minutes to review the safety video we have created and read through the other articles in this COVID-19 section of our website, to fully understand all the precautionary measures we have put in place.
