At TeamSport we have always had our customers safety at the forefront of what we do. Our aim is always to provide an amazing experience that is safe for everyone. We are taking some additional COVID-19 safety measures, which will be in place, to keep you and our crew safe.
Following the Health Secretary’s announcement earlier today (30/06/2020), outlining the requirement to reimpose lockdown restrictions on the city of Leicester, TeamSport have halted their plans to reopen the Leicester go-karting track on Saturday 4th July.
Following the Prime Ministers announcement on 23rd June where he listed the types of businesses that were allowed to re-open, he named ‘Indoor leisure centres and facilities including indoor gaming’ in his list.
Our biggest priority is to deliver safe, unique and exciting experiences for everyone. Its therefore really important that we reopen our tracks in a responsible manner, taking additional COVID-19 precautionary measures into account and giving our teams the training, equipment and time that they need. That’s why are going to be re-opening our nationwide tracks in different groups at different times, whilst always adhering to the rules, regulations and recommendations of the Government.
For an initial period of time we need to limit the number of spectators that can accompany karter’s into the building. We therefore kindly request that you attend the track with no more than one spectator per driver and in the case of a group bookings, that the number of group accompanying spectators, does not exceed a maximum of two people.
