Paul di Resta Pleased with Formula 1 Performance

Di Resta’s Maiden Season in Formula 1 is off to a good start

13 April 2011

The Scotsman has got off to a good start with his maiden season in Formula 1 with a seat at Force India

alongside Adrian Sutil. Paul di Resta is pleased with his performance so far coming into points in two consecutive Grands Prix, being placed 10th twice to earn him 2 points to equal his teammate who was placed 9th in Australia to pick up his 2 points and 11th in Malaysia leaving him with nothing. Paul says it’s a great start to the season and he isn’t surprised with his performance but he is definitely encouraged by it. It proves to himself and his team that he is becoming a worthwhile asset and while scraping a few points from each Grand Prix doesn’t sound like a lot it goes to show that he is quickly becoming a valuable driver considering he’s finishing above other seasoned veterans of the sport. If he keeps up his performance then I have no doubt that he’ll be able to retain his seat with Force India but if he performs even better then who knows which teams will offer him a seat for the 2012 Season.
