You may or may not have heard recently, but Lewis Hamilton is set to appear in the latest instalment of Disney's Pixar movie Cars 2
. He has made a cameo role as 'Hamilton' the McLaren MP4-12c racer in which we also heard that he had a big input in designing his car. He isn't the first Formula 1 driver to have made a cinematic debut in the films, following in the footsteps of Schumacher who appeared as a Ferrari F430 in the first original Cars movie. Hamilton will also be starring alongside actors such as Michael Caine and Owen Wilson, who voices the films main character Lightening McQueen. Without giving too much away, the plot follows the main characters through Japan and Europe in order to determine the worlds fastest car by competing in a Grand Prix, in which we see 'Hamilton' take part in. The film is due to be released next month and I can't wait to see our favourite McLaren driver on the big screen, Disney CGI is always worth waiting for and I think we're in for a good one!
