25.03.15 INDY 100 - DID YOU MISS OUT?!
Results from last night's Indy 100 @ TeamSport Bristol, which was one of the most exciting GRID events ever to be held. 4-lap average qualifying put the Venn / Bennett team on pole but the race proper saw a variety of leaders.
The Indy 100 rules required the safety kart to come out and bunch up the pack every time there was a yellow flag. This meant there was constant close racing and concentration was tested to the maximum.
Barrs / Winter led during the middle of the race but Phillpotts / Collins profited from a yellow flag period to gain the lead on lap 58.
It was all looking easy until the yellow flag flew on lap 97, causing the race to be extended as per Green White Chequered rules. Phillpotts / Collins held off the charging Bayani / Westhoff pairing to just hold on and take the victory.
