What’s the racing format for the Premier Grand Prix?

Start off with a safety briefing and 5 minutes of practice laps before taking to the track again for 10 minutes of qualifying laps. You’ll then be split into two separate groups according to your qualifying time. The slower group will race in a Grand Prix style race for 15 minutes, with the winner being awarded the trophy for 3rd place overall. The faster qualifying group will then put pedal to metal in another 15 minute Grand Prix race with the fastest two finishers awarded 1st and 2nd place trophies overall.

What’s the Team Endurance racing
format like?

The Southampton Team Endurance Race begins with a driver’s briefing followed by a practice session and team race. The event itself is a hectic mix of adrenaline and competition, with each team’s members swapping in and out of the karts during pit stops, taking it in turns to try and complete the highest amount of laps in the designated time. The team which is the fastest and completes the most laps wins!

The length of the practice and race depends upon which team challenge you select. The longer the team challenge, the greater value of karting each driver receives.

What’s the racing format of the Grand Prix Events?

This Southampton event begins with a briefing on safety and the track, followed by practice sessions. The Grand Prix itself starts with a series of qualifying heats, with individual drivers gaining points and determining their grid position for the semi-finals. Once through to the semi’s things intensify as only the fastest finishers in this event are allowed to compete in the Final. The top 3 finishers in the Final are awarded trophies and that all important podium finish!
