Good to see an old fashioned idea at last picked up by F1. I worked on the designs of the blowing systems for Buccaneer and Phantom aircraft in the late 60’s and even then wondered if this would be incorporated into F1. But with aircraft blowing was superceded by ever more complicated flaps and winglets.
